Profile:

Dr Chrysovalantis Kyriacou is Lecturer in Ecclesiastical History at the Theological School of the Church of Cyprus. A Byzantinist by training, Dr Kyriacou has taught at the University of Cyprus, European University Cyprus and Royal Holloway, University of London. His research interests cover ecclesiastical history and historiography, especially in the Eastern Mediterranean from Late Antiquity to the Early Modern period. Dr Kyriacou is the author of four monographs, including Orthodox Cyprus under the Latins, 1191–1571: Society, Spirituality, and Identities (Lexington Books: New York–London, 2018).
